Make 2015 a year to remember!
It is no coincidence that many families choose to begin their adoption process after the New Year. After all, it is often seen as a time of renewal- or a time for a new beginning. In 2015, we will have families who become first time parents. Others will build their families through adoption and some will start the process. Families may find the child of their dreams down the street in Baton Rouge or fly halfway around the world and back.
Our babies may be African American, Caucasian, Latino, Asian, or Multi- racial, but at the end of the day, it does not really matter because we love them for who they are, and the joy that they bring to our lives. It is because of our children that the holiday lights sparkled a bit brighter, and that the “stockings were hung by the chimney with care”. Some consider our children lucky, but we know that we are the lucky ones, the ones whose lives have been blessed through adoption.
