Requirements for Adoptive Families
Beacon House utilizes the most flexible criteria for accepting families into our adoption program, within the parameters of each state’s law. Adoptive families are required to complete an adoption home study, in the state they reside in, as part of the adoption process. This approval will allow BHAS to place a child with the adoptive family.
The main criteria for any adoptive family, is that they are able and willing to provide a loving, nurturing environment for a child, and be the subjects of an approved home study. Our criterion does not exclude single parents or families with existing children. It is our desire to make an adoption placement that fits your family and fits the birth mother’s wants and needs.
