Melwyn & Heidi

Hello, we are Melwyn and Heidi.
Meeting as classmates in our late teenage years in college, we quickly became good friends. Over the years our friendship transformed into dating, which included most of those years being long-distance until we were married in 2013. Currently, we have just come from a long meaningful journey of care-taking roles for several of our beloved family members who sadly have now passed. In this next season of our lives, we are looking to bring joy to the life of a child.

We live in a community-orientated neighborhood with a small park directly in front of our house. We live in close proximity to zoos and nature trials, which we visit often! There are also nearby children’s sporting facilities. Melwyn works as a special education teacher for a middle school and Heidi works from home as a medical librarian and a university professor (biostatistics, epidemiology, public health).
 
We have long had a heart to adopt. If given the opportunity, we would be so thankful to be adoptive parents and we would promise to love your child unconditionally. We are praying for peace and love in this challenging time.
