Hello!
My name is Neill. I come from a large extended family; one we affectionately call “our village.” I always
dreamed of getting married and starting a family. I haven’t yet met the right man, so I
explored other ways to start a family. In doing so, I discovered I am unable to bear
children. Thankfully, this doesn’t mean I can’t have a family.
It takes a village to raise a child: grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, neighbors,
and lots of friends. I am fortunate to have this kind of support. We will be surrounded by
a loving family (some of whom are adopted) and large group of friends. I was raised in
just such a way, with cousins running in and out of the house, sleepovers at my
grandparents, and carpooling with friends. I am so grateful for this upbringing, for this
village.
Genes are not all that make a family. Love makes a family and this family, this village,
has love and joy to spare!
This is an emotional and important decision for both of us. I am grateful for you and your
courage and grateful to be considered in the process. This village is eager to welcome
the newest member of the family.
Thinking of you – Neill
