Maddy & Richard

We grew up in the same small hometown, and although our families knew each other, we didn’t meet until after college! A whirlwind romance has turned into eight years of our best lives – Richard is a chef, and Maddy is a well-fed computer programmer. Our hiking, camping, and entrepreneurial adventures highlight how great it is to be married to your best friend… especially when we both think we’re the funny one.

We have large families that already include adoption as part of their story – in addition to Maddy’s youngest cousin being adopted, Maddy placed her son with an adoptive family when she experienced an unplanned pregnancy when she was 16. We know adoption is the right thing for us. Anyone out there trying to make tough decisions – we’re thinking of you and sending good vibes.
