Hi! We are Phillips and Maggie!

We have been together for over 10 wonderful years and married since 2019. Phillips is a civil engineer, and Maggie is an elementary school teacher. We love cats, books, walks, and laughter! Our relationship is built on shared values of community, equality, empathy, and simple joys. These values are our guiding light in how we love one another, love the world, and eagerly wait to love the future child God has planned for us. Adoption has been a part of Maggie’s life since childhood, as her god brothers- only a year older than she is, were adopted. Watching her god-family’s story unfold for over 3 decades has made adoption an integral and cherished part of her family unit.

Our path to parenthood has taken a number of different directions, but neither the time nor the complexities have diminished our desire or excitement to be parents. We joyfully embrace this adoption journey and cannot wait to see where it takes us. More than anything, we want to give a child life bursting with love, support, and belonging- a life that honors the love you have already shown for them and the life you want them to have. We share with you an understanding that this entire process is a mix of many conflicting and overwhelming emotions, and we are endlessly grateful for your consideration and pray for the decision you will make.
